Sport utility vehicle was found this morning in the bottom of the embankment of the Riverside Drive, almost on the Cumberland River.
Bikers called Clarksville police around 11 PM to report vehicle overturned under the Crossland.
According to a news release from police spokesman Officer Jim Knoll, officers arrived at scene and found 1999 Dodge Durango upside down on the banks of the River. There is nothing wrong in the vehicle.
The clerk contacted the owner of the vehicle, registered as Ryan d. Truett, from Lavinia, who told them he thought the vehicle was confiscated and the last time he saw it 25 November in Milan, TN.
The vehicle was not reported stolen, and Knoll say that at this time the officer did not know how the vehicle ended up upside down by the River.
Knoll's release said it took three hours to remove the vehicles were severely damaged.
